The Power of Resilience

Resilience is an important quality to cultivate in your life. Lucy Hone shares in her TED talk, the three mindsets of resilient people:

  • Know bad things happen and suffering is normal.
  • Choose carefully what you focus on. Put your attention on what is in your power to change, and accept the things you can’t.
  • Ask yourself if the way you are thinking is helping you or hurting you. And asking what is in your control gives you back power and lets you focus on what you can control.
